David stood in front of the full-length mirror, not recognizing the reflection staring back at him. He reached up to touch his face, his newly painted fingers grazing the smooth skin accentuated by the light foundation and blush. A soft, golden-brown wig framed his formerly masculine face, its curls tumbling gently over his shoulders. The all-in-one shapewear he wore had sculpted his figure, smoothing and lifting in all the right places.
He blinked, his eyes wide with disbelief. “Is that… me?” he whispered.
His friend Martha, who had orchestrated the transformation, stood nearby with a proud smile. “Told you it would work.”
David turned side to side, inspecting his reflection. The shapewear had cinched his waist, removed all unsightly bulges, and smoothed his silhouette, giving him a graceful hourglass shape. The makeup was subtle but effective—a hint of mascara to brighten his eyes, a dab of lipstick for color, and just enough blush to give her cheeks a youthful glow.
“I don’t know what to say,” David said, his voice trembling. “I look… I look like a woman”
“Exactly,” Martha said, stepping behind him and resting her hands on David’s shoulders.
David turned to Martha, her eyes glistening. “I never thought I could look like this. I feel… beautiful.”
“And you are,” Martha said firmly. “Now, are you ready to go out and show the world?”
David hesitated, looking back at the mirror one more time. He took a deep breath, a smile slowly spreading across his face. “Yes,” he said with newfound confidence. “Let’s go.”
